Last weekend, the Indiana Epsilon Chapter held their 2016 Balanced Man Banquet. This banquet, in honor of a SigEp’s desire to be a balanced man, recognizes incoming freshmen that exemplify the qualities the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity deems as those of balanced men. These students go above and beyond in academics, athletics, leadership roles, and volunteer/work history. This year had a great deal of more than qualified men deserving of the scholarship, making it difficult to come to a conclusion when deciding a winner. Of the near 40 that applied, only 15 were invited to the banquet and three given a balanced man scholarship. We recognize those in attendance to the banquet: (clockwise from top left in the picture below) Kunal Mukerjee, Zach Johnson, Ryan Cook, Quentin Meier, Ross Akers, Skip Maas, Trevor Lax, Kyle Hartke, Josh Isaacs, and Drew Jacobs. Each of names mentioned are considered balanced men, but we offer a special congratulations to the top three recipients of the scholarship: Zach Johnson, Quentin Meier, and Ross Akers!
Thanks to everyone who could attend and to those who put time and effort into making the banquet a success.
