This past weekend 16 of our members went to Chicago, IL to attend Life After College, an event sponsored by SigEp, to instruct attendees on professional tips through workshops and one-on-one sessions. Sessions were administered by alumni, and other facilitators from around the country, who have been extremely successful in their careers. Some of these sessions included: resume building and analysis, tips for a great interview and mock ups, the importance of networking and the far-reaching impact of LinkedIn, but most importantly how to describe the SigEp experience to future employers as a mean to show personal growth through one’s college years. In addition, brothers took advantage of their time up there and did some sight-seeing as pictured below. Our members came back with a new outlook on these topics, feeling prepared to dive in into new experiences in their professional lives.
